Karl spent his apprenticeship writing 3D environments in Flash 4 and running the entire IT setup for the 40-strong WebMedia, all while completing an honours degree. He speaks several languages, makes good use of his spare time, and is the principal architect behind the office's much-played motivational megamix. Karl loves hats and Blake's 7.

He's also a certified Apple hardware technician, and can sometimes be found running around Birkenhead late at night with a flashlight on his head.
