Cactuslab is a multimedia studio founded by Karl von Randow and Matthew Buchanan, formerly of new media company WebMedia. Since 2001 we have worked on a wide variety of projects for a diverse client list.
We pride ourselves on designing and building attractive, functional and accessible solutions that adhere to published web standards. We make websites with HTML5, CSS 2.1 & 3, JavaScript (with support from jQuery and other frameworks), and content management tools. We have experience with creating themes for Tumblr and WordPress, simple game development, database design and implementation, and secure e-commerce.
Cactuslab additionally provides full-service native iOS (iPhone & iPad) application development services for the New Zealand market. We have proven experience in the field, including personal projects and a growing portfolio of commercial work.
